We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable part-time instructor for the Summer 2025 Medical Mini School, designed for high school and college freshmen interested in medicine, biology, and health sciences. This position is paid and located in Vancouver. Responsibilities include teaching group classes twice a week (Wednesday and Friday), supporting students in case studies, presentation skills, and basic clinical simulations (such as suturing), and providing feedback on student projects and group reports in collaboration with our main instructor (a medically trained doctor from Oxford) and student mentors. A background in life sciences, biomedical sciences, public health, or related fields is required. Teaching, mentoring, or youth outreach experience is preferred, along with strong English communication skills (Cantonese or Mandarin speakers are preferred), and residing in the Greater Vancouver area for in-person teaching. The compensation is CAD $40–60 per hour, depending on experience. Outstanding instructors will receive a recommendation letter from the main instructor.
